LeSportsac has been making dynamic and versatile bags and travel accessories since its founding in 1974. Arc En Ciel was launched in collaboration with Rowing Blazers, a line of playfully nostalgic collection of iconic rip-stop nylon styles. The selection includes bucket bags, zip totes, shoulder bags, tennis bags, lanyards, and laptop cases. special new product line from LeSportsac.
Designed, executed, and ideated all new silhouettes as well as print development for this new collection launch.
“When LeSportsac reached out to me about working with them to create a new line within the nearly 50-year-old brand, I couldn’t have been more excited. I thought about what LeSportSac means to me… It’s from the ‘70s, but it’s timeless. It’s an American brand with a European name (and a global, cosmopolitan feeling). It’s elevated, up in the sky, but practical and light — almost weightless. I came up with the name Arc En Ciel — French for rainbow — based on these concepts, and pored over vintage LeSportSac ads and archival products for inspiration.— Jack Carlson, Founder and Creative Director of Rowing Blazers
